Professional Spa Startup Service

Our Professional Spa Startup Service is designed for hot tubs that have been professionally winterized or shut down for an extended period. This service ensures your spa is safely returned to operation, all equipment connections are properly reassembled, and the system is thoroughly tested before use.

Because pumps, heaters, unions, and plumbing connections are disconnected during winterization, professional startup is required to verify that all components are correctly reconnected and operating as intended. Attempting to start a winterized spa without proper reassembly may result in leaks or equipment damage.

Spa Startup Service Includes:

• Reconnection of all pumps, heaters, unions, and plumbing fittings that were disconnected during winterization
• Reinstallation of filter(s)
• Inspection of accessible equipment and plumbing components
• Filling the spa (customer must provide access to water)
• System priming and startup procedures
• Testing of pumps, circulation system, heater, controls, and key spa functions
• Inspection for leaks following startup
• Water chemistry balancing and startup recommendations
• Verification that the spa is operating safely and efficiently

Important Information

Hot tubs that have remained empty for an extended period may experience deterioration of rubber and mechanical components. Pump seals, O-rings, gaskets, bearings, and union seals can dry out, shrink, or crack during storage and may leak when the spa is refilled and restarted.

While our technicians will inspect the spa during startup, any repairs required due to failed seals, gaskets, leaks, or other component issues are not included in the startup service and will be quoted separately if required.
