Meldos Natural Oil is applied to the Sauna's interior only. Clear in colour, it reinforces and strongly deepens the wood veins natural colour. It has antifungal properties that make the wood more resistant to mold. The application is easy and can be done with a roller, brush or spray gun.
This 2.5 litre can will be enough coverage for 2 coats on the inside of all Sauna models.
- Keeps your sauna strong and robust for years to come.
- Accentuates the natural wood grain, impregnating, water repellent, open-pored and permeable to water vapor.
- Drying time: At 23 degrees Celsius (73’F) and 50% relative humidity the drying time for the first coat is 8-16 hours. Subsequent coats approximately 16-24 hours.
- Coverage: 2.5 liter is sufficient for approximately 25-meter square, depending upon the condition and absorbency of the surface.
- Preparation: Wood must be dry, solid, able to absorb, finely sanded (Floors up to 180 grain, furniture up to wood surfaces 240 grain), clean and free of resin and dust.
- Ensure good ventilation during use and drying times. MELDOS may still seep out of the porous hardwood and some coniferous wood after 48 hrs. Remove upon appearance.
