Our Water Change & Chemical Balance Service provides a complete drain, refill, and water balancing treatment to restore your hot tub to clean, safe, and properly sanitized operating conditions. Whether your spa is due for routine maintenance, experiencing water quality issues, or being prepared for renewed use, this service helps ensure your water starts fresh and balanced.
Service Includes
- Complete drain and refill of the hot tub
- Water chemistry neutralization prior to draining as required
- Water discharged to a location directed by the homeowner, where site conditions permit
- Interior surface wipe-down during the draining process
- Removal of light debris, residue, and buildup as needed
- Treatment and cleaning of minor rust staining and scum lines where possible
- Wipe-down of the interior cover surface
- Complete water testing after refill
- Chemical balancing and startup treatment to establish proper sanitizer, pH, alkalinity, and water balance levels
Service Time Allowance
This service includes up to one hour of on-site labour.
Should additional time be required due to excessive buildup, difficult access, extended filling times, heavy cleaning requirements, water condition issues, or other site-specific circumstances, additional labour will be billed at the applicable hourly service rate.
Optional Filter Cleaning Services
Filter cleaning may be added to this service for an additional $20.00, depending on the cleaning method selected.
On-Site Filter Cleaning
- Filter removed and inspected
- Debris and contaminants rinsed from pleats and filter media
- Basic cleaning to improve water flow and filtration performance
- Filter reinstalled after cleaning
Professional Filter Cleaning
For heavily soiled filters, a more thorough cleaning may be recommended either on-site or at our shop. This process may include:
- Deep soaking in a professional filter-cleaning solution
- Removal of oils, body lotions, organic contaminants, and mineral buildup
- Thorough rinsing and inspection of filter condition
- Assessment for wear, damage, or replacement requirements
If a filter is found to be excessively worn, damaged, or unable to be adequately cleaned, replacement may be recommended at an additional cost.
